California Republicans come to Carson City, Nevada, to protest in front of the offices of Sen. Harry Reid. Unfortunately for them, the area they planned on protesting in was already occupied by hundreds of Reid supporters.
Last Updated: 8:09 PM 07/17/07 - A Type I Incident Management Team has been called in for the Hawken Fire. They will take over Wednesday night at 6pm. The fire has burned between 1,800 and 2,000 acres with containment still at 10%. The cause is still under investigation.

The Angora Fire, burning close to South lake Tahoe, has already claimed over 165 homes. Over 500 homes are threatened at this time. At this time over 2000 acres are burning.
